MYRORNA

onsdag 29 december 2010 § 2

Myrorna has 11 stores in Stockholm and a total of 30 stores in Sweden. It's a commercial organization dealing with recycling. The goal is to create an economic surplus for the Salvation Army and their social work.

Myrorna does not buy clothes but accept donations from individuals and businesses which are later sold in Myrorna's second hand stores. Other important goals are to provide job training unemployed people and reducing resource consumption in the community through active recycling efforts.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to take pictures inside the stores but below you'll see a collection of what we found and brought home :)

We visited both the store on Hornsgatan 96 and the one in Skärholmen Centrum which has a large stock of vintage furniture. U bought an amazing coffee table that I wasn't able to photograph as she already covered it in work :)

The popular "mud" color seen everywhere this winter can also be found second hand...OF COURSE

A dream of a weekend bag. DREAM.

A madonna and cute summer clogs (made in Sweden of course)

The perfect gipsy blouse!

Navy blue tappered trousers
(need to make some adjustments but otherwise perfect)

And last but not least, U found a red 80's belt :)
