La fira de Bellcaire or Encant Vells (Les Encants) as it also is called is one of the oldest market places in Europe, going back to the XVI century.
If you haven't been here and love shopping second hand you have seriously MISSED OUT on something. A huge marketplace filled with both old and new items at incredible cheap prices! You can find anything from 40's vintage hats to super bargains like shirts for 1 euro.
It is highly recommended to not bring any expensive gear here since there's quite a high rate of stolen goods sold on spot, and always extremely crowded. And don't be afraid of pushing around because otherwise you will never get through :)
Try to remember where you find the good things cause the stands are usually always in the same places. In the center of the market there's normally piles of clothes, shoes and bags to very low prices and in the corners there's more vintage clothing. The isles hold a lot of accessories but also cheap fur and leather coats for the ones interested.
Never under estimate the stands with new products either. They might not be second hand, but some garments and shoes might seem extremely fashionable to you but not to the old ladies normally shopping there. And it's cheap!
